GST registrants, who are unable to login to their GST accounts due to change in mobile and email address, can now do it easily. The primary authorised signatory will have to send a request to their jurisdictional officer to change the mobile number and email address.
The facility is available for both jurisdictional Range Superintendents and divisional Assistant Commissioner and Deputy Commissioners.
A GST registrant must ensure to send modified email address and mobile number to GSTN for updating. Only after successful updating at GSTN end, the taxpayer will be able to use the said changed email and mobile number. Functionalities to re-designate a different authorised signatory as primary authorised signatory and to add a new primary authorised signatory will be provided subsequently.
